One of the best reasons to get a sports massage is to help your muscles, tendons and joints move through their proper range of motion and stay in optimum shape. Massage is only part of your recovery. We also help you work out the cause of injury and prescribe remedial exercise to reduce the chance of ongoing issues or further injury.
WHAT IS MOVEMENT THERAPY?
Sometimes our lifestyle and day to day movement patterns can cause stiffness, pain, injury, poor mobility, low mood, poor sleep, and illness. Through changing some of these lifestyle and movement patterns we can feel better in ourselves and more able to achieve the goals we desire. I use Pilates and Yoga based exercise techniques, but I may just recommend simple changes at home or work that can make a huge difference.
